H&Y Filters announced the “REVORING 67-82mm Red -Ilko Alexandrov Model-.” They released a limited edition model signed by popular photographer/YouTuber, Ilko Alexandrov. The REVORING variable step ring allows you to attach one filter to various lenses.
The design is the REVORING 67-82mm that Ilko also uses, and his signature is designed as a subtle accent on the back (lens side).
The compatible lens filter diameter is 67-82mm, and it is used with an 82mm filter. It can also accommodate other companies’ 82mm filters, but the combination with the EVO series and magnetic filters is especially recommended, as the filters can be changed magnetically in an instant.
Ilko Alexandrov’s favorite red color has been added to the existing black, titanium grey and vintage green, bringing the total to four colors.
What is REVORING?
The Revoring is a variable step-up ring that allows one filter to be attached to various lenses. Its structure applies the principle of aperture blades, allowing one filter to be attached to lenses of multiple diameters. Each screw end is designed to overlap, completely eliminating the possibility of light leakage. It can also be used for sizes that are not commonly available, such as for old lenses.
Since there is no need to rotate the filter while screwing it onto the lens, the filter can be quickly attached and removed from the camera or interchangeable lens.
There are three types for each compatible lens: 7-49mm (for 52mm filters), 46-62mm (for 67mm filters), 52-72mm (for 77mm filters), 67-82mm (for 82mm filters), and 82-95mm (for 95mm filters).
The round filters of H&Y’s new EVO system, available in either magnetic or screw-in style, can be used according to the user’s shooting style. A single filter can be quickly attached to a variety of lenses, eliminating the need to purchase multiple sizes, step-up rings, adapter rings, etc., and also saving storage space after installation.
