Blackmagic Design announced that the final release of DaVinci Resolve 19 is now available for download. It is available for download from the company’s web page.
DaVinci Resolve 19 is a major update that adds new DaVinci Neural Engine AI tools and over 100 other features. These features include IntelliTrack AI, Ultra NR noise reduction, ColorSlice 6 vector grading, Film Look Creator FX, and multi-source editing on the cut page.
For Fusion, new USD and multi-poly rotoscoping tools come included. Fairlight gets new Fairlight AI audio panning for tracking video, Ducker Track FX and Ambisonic surround sound. Additionally, Blackmagic Cloud gets new features that make it easier for large enterprises to use when multiple users are collaborating on the same project at the same time. It also adds support for DaVinci Resolve Replay. This feature allows customers can create live action replays during an event and turn them into promotional videos, highlight packages or instant social media updates.
Editors can use transcribed audio to identify speakers and edit timeline clips, colorists can create rich film-like tones using ColorSlice’s 6 vector palette, and the new Film Look Creator effect emulates the metering process of film to produce cinematic images. Fairlight uses IntelliTrack AI to track movement and automatically pan audio.
VFX artists working in Fusion have access to an expanded USD toolset and a new multi-poly rotoscoping tool that shows all masks in a single list, and the cut page features a new broadcast replay tool for live multi-camera broadcast editing, playback and speed controlled replay.
It also supports live sync with Blackmagic Cloud so media can be uploaded to a DaVinci Resolve bin while the camera is recording so editors and colorists can start working on it while the shoot is still ongoing.
