GoPro has announced the HERO13 Black, the top-of-the-line model that can utilize GoPro’s exclusive HERO Black Series Lenses. Additionally, GoPro announced the smallest 4K camera, the HERO, which is the ultimate in simplicity. Both are available for pre-order. In-store sales will begin on September 10, 2024 for the HERO13 Black and September 10, 2024 for the HERO. The approximate retail prices are as follows:

GoPro HERO13 Black
The GoPro HERO13 Black is a powerful camera that expands creative possibilities endlessly with the latest technology. Works with with Hero Black series lenses
When used with the new Hero Black (HB) Series lenses, the HERO13 Black can push your creativity to new heights. The HERO13 Black automatically detects the lens attached and optimally adjusts settings according to the type of lens and the environment.
The four HB series lenses are compatible with GoPro’s patented HyperSmooth image stabilization function and are coated with a water-repellent coating, making them scratch-resistant and waterproof.

Battery
The 1900mAh Enduro battery has 10% more capacity and is more power efficient, with a new battery case that delivers longer battery life in any situation. With the HERO13 Black, you can shoot continuously for 1.5 hours at the highest resolution 4K30 and 5.3K30 settings, or more than 2.5 hours at HD 1080p30.
In addition, the new Contacto Magnetic Door + Power Cable Kit (13,800 yen including tax) takes power supply to the next level in any weather. This power extension accessory attaches to the side door designed for HERO13 Black with a magnet, allowing you to quickly and easily connect to an external power source and power the camera while maintaining waterproof protection.
Multiple mounting methods
The new Magnetic Latch Mount ($42.99) and Ball Joint Mount ($68.99) make it quick and easy to swap between your HERO13 Black and GoPro mounts. Both are compatible with existing GoPro mounts and use a magnetic latch system to secure your camera in place.
