H&Y Filters released a new size of 58-77mm for the REVORING Vari ND3-ND1000. The filter comes with a lightweight matte box, a bridge ring for mounting, and an optional Clip-on Magnetic Black Mist for REVORING 58-77mm black mist filter, perfect for videography. All filters can be attached to the filter body with one touch using a magnet.
A product that combines variable ND and variable step ring
The H&Y Filters REVORING Vari ND3-ND1000 is a product that combines REVORING (variable step ring) and variable ND. In addition to the 67-82mm, a new 58-77mm has been added.
It has all the basic performance features common to H&Y filter products, such as low reflectivity thanks to an optimized coating, resolution thanks to excellent flatness, and water-repellent, dirt-resistant, scratch-resistant, and anti-static coatings, as well as high quality and ease of maintenance.
In addition, it comes with a wide range of options, such as magnetic filters (various types for REVORING 58-77mm) for the REVORING built-in filter and a dedicated magnetic cap set. It is available as a single product (direct sales and Amazon store), as a set with a matte box suitable for video shooting and a dedicated magnetic black mist (direct sales only).
Variable ND filter functions
You can adjust the ND density by turning the lever on the side. As a variable ND filter, it has a wide range of effect adjustment from about 1.5 to 10 stops, making it suitable for a variety of uses, from videos and portraits to landscapes and long exposures. Its effect is equivalent to nine commercially available ND filters: ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64, ND128, ND256, ND500, ND1000.
Integrated variable step ring function
Equipped with an innovative variable step ring mechanism that can be attached to various lenses, it is compatible with lenses with 5 common filter diameters (58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm), as well as intermediate filter diameters such as 60mm for Leica. REVORING is an attachment mechanism that applies the principle of aperture blades, and there is no light leakage, and it is firmly fixed to the lens barrel by a spring.
Dedicated magnetic filters can be stacked on the edge of the frame
It is possible to stack various compatible magnetic filters for revolving, and by adding an ND filter you can reduce the unevenness that is typical of variable ND, and you can also quickly use it in combination with special effect filters such as black mist and white mist.
Metal cap sold separately
A dedicated magnetic cap set for the Revoring is also available, which can protect the filter surface from both the front and rear.
