Nikon Z50II Details
The Z50II combines multiple imaging features with the excellent functions and performance of higher-end models. This camera is perfect for first time users, hobbyists, and photographers on a budget. The two lens kit in particular is great for students. The Nikon Z50II boasts operability that is both easy for beginners to learn and comfortable for expert users.
The Picture Control button is installed for the first time in the Nikon Z series, making it even easier to use Picture Control, which allows you to easily create images as you imagine without complicated settings or editing. In addition, by downloading “imaging recipes,” you can more easily enjoy the expressions of your favorite creators and film-like expressions. In addition, by adopting the same “EXPEED 7” image processing engine as the flagship model “Nikon Z9,” the Nikon Z50II has the same focusing and subject detection abilities as the Z9.
You can leave the focusing to the camera and concentrate on creating images, so even beginners can use it with confidence.

More Features:
Picture Control dedicated buttons help you express your dreams and create images that are unique to you
The Picture Control button, when connected to the SnapBridge app, allows you to discover new color combinations and settings. In addition to being able to save image creations with adjustments to color, brightness, contrast, etc. as recipes, you can download recipes recommended by Nikon or supervised by famous creators for free and send them to the camera as Cloud Picture Controls. 31 presets are included.
This button allows you to change color settings in one step when shooting. Picture Controls can now be changed even when the shooting mode is set to AUTO. Recipes sent to the camera can be accessed instantly, making it easier to enjoy a variety of expressions, just like changing film or filters. In addition, a new Picture Control filtering function has been added, allowing you to quickly access your favorite expressions by displaying only frequently used items. The effect of applying Picture Controls can be confirmed on the image monitor or electronic viewfinder (EVF), allowing you to create images exactly as you imagined.
Perfect for beginners – Excellent shooting abilities on par with high end cameras.
By using the same EXPEED 7 engine as the “Z9,” the Z50II supports nine types of subject detection like the flagship model. Also, the performance of “AF-A”, automatically setting the AF mode according to the movement of the subject and changes in composition, has been greatly improved.
Even when shooting pets or children, whose movements are difficult to predict, you can leave the focus to the camera without changing the settings. In addition, by utilizing the high image processing performance of “EXPEED 7” and Nikon’s proprietary deep learning technology, the camera analyzes and recognizes the subject and scene when using the shooting mode “AUTO”, and automatically optimizes exposure control values such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO sensitivity, as well as AF and flash control.
Just hold the camera at the timing you want to shoot, and you can take photos according to the scene, such as photos with beautiful background blur and sharp photos with little subject blur.
Brighter, clearer, and easier to see high-brightness EVF
The electronic viewfinder is about twice as bright as the original Nikon Z50, making it possible to clearly check the focus and details of the peripheral areas of the screen even in bright shooting environments such as outdoors on a sunny day. The reduced brightness difference between the viewfinder image and what is seen with the naked eye makes it easier to obtain the image you imagined, and reduces the strain and stress on your eyes when shooting. The bright, high-brightness EVF supports the unique camera experience of “looking through the viewfinder to shoot,” allowing you to enjoy shooting while concentrating on the scenery and subject in front of you.
Fully-featured video capabilities that enable you to take on the challenge of professional video shooting
The “EXPEED 7” image processing engine supports high-resolution 4K UHD video generation with 5.6K oversampling.. With this processing engine and sensor, the Nikon Z50II supports shooting “N-Log” videos that can express smooth brightness gradations.
Additionally, a “Video Self-Timer” function that allows you to select the interval between pressing REC and starting shooting from “2 seconds” or “10 seconds”. Since unnecessary footage can be cut in advance, the editing workflow can be simplified, which is very useful for review videos and Vlog shooting. In addition, with USB streaming (UVC/UAC) support, you can easily distribute clear images for online meetings and live video streaming by connecting to a PC or smartphone.
The screen has full rotation control and operates as a touch screen too. Size is 3.2 inches, and has a resolution of 0.104K dots.
