The Leica SL3-P is the latest model in the Leica SL system, evolved to meet the demanding requirements of professionals.

Sensor and AF system
Equipped with a 44-megapixel back-illuminated (BSI) full-frame sensor, the Leica SL3-P achieves a dynamic range of up to 14 stops. In multi-shot mode, it can generate images with a maximum resolution of 176 megapixels. The autofocus system employs a new hybrid autofocus system that combines phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), depth mapping (object recognition AF), and contrast detection. With 819 AF points and intelligent subject recognition, it achieves high-speed continuous shooting of up to 40 frames per second.
Video performance
The camera supports shooting at up to 8.1K/24fps (3:2 open gate). It also supports 8K RAW output via HDMI and Apple ProRes (up to 5.8K). New in-camera LUTs for L-Log, “Leica Pure” and “Leica Cine,” are also included.
Design and durability
It features a restrained design with the red logo removed and the entire device unified in matte black. The body is made of all metal and has IP54 dust and water resistance.
Leica SL3-P Interface
The menu design uses color coding, with red for photo mode and yellow for video mode. It features a high-resolution tiltable monitor to enhance information visibility.
Professional features
It supports tethered shooting with Lightroom and Capture One, as well as the “Camera to Cloud” function via Adobe Frame.io. It also incorporates content credential (CAI standard) technology to prevent content tampering.
