Lake Platz, as the official domestic distributor of H&Y Filters, has released the “K-Series 100mm Filter Holder Mark III,” a semi-hard case for round filters.

The well-established K series 100mm square filter holder has been renewed. On the Mark II, the adapter ring was attached to the filter holder by dropping it into the back of the holder and tightening it with a lock screw, but now it can be attached with a magnet with one touch and locked with a slide, making for even faster setup.
The system has evolved to be even easier to use, with full compatibility with existing K series square filters and drop-in filters, and a more comprehensive cap system, accelerating filter work.
The filter follows the well-established K series.
The popular H&Y magnetic square filter and drop-in filter for the K series holder can be used as is, inheriting the speedy usability of the magnetic and drop-in type.
Connect the square filter holder and adapter ring with one touch
By using the same adapter ring as the REVORING Swift system magnetic adapter (thin frame adapter for wide-angle lenses) “RM-AR,” it is possible to set up and attach it with one touch, achieving a significant time saving.
Benefits of changing the adapter ring
It is now compatible with filter diameters of 95mm (conventional products only support up to 86mm), which was not possible with previous models. It also contributes to making the entire system thinner, and is more resistant to vignetting than previous models.
More secure locking system
The filter holder and adapter ring are connected with a two-point sliding locking mechanism, and the magnetic square filter is equipped with a locking screw that has been adopted since the Mark II holder. It has been improved so that the square filter will not come off even if it is hit from behind. While maintaining the light and easy setting of the magnet type, the risk of losing the filter is reduced by fixing it in place in situations where you do not want the filter to fall off unexpectedly or when you are by a river.
A more complete cap system
Previous models were only compatible with the magnetic holder cap “LC100” that was attached to the filter holder, but with the new model, it is also possible to use the magnetic cap “LC-82F” (compatible with all sizes of adapter ring “RM-AR”), which can be attached directly to the adapter ring with the holder removed.
