Blackmagic Design recently announced the release of DaVinci Resolve 20 public beta 2, which is available for free download from their website .
DaVinci Resolve 20 public beta 2 includes various improvements and bug fixes, as well as the ability to see and adjust changes made to speed keyframes in DaVinci public beta. This means when using the new keyframe editor, customers can make adjustments and immediately see the changes in the viewer, making it faster to create any speed effect they want.
When using the source timeline viewer, there’s improved synchronization between the tabbed timeline and the viewer when dragging and dropping media and applying edits. There are also various fixes for recording voice-overs, so voice-overs will now be recorded to the selected track regardless of whether the track has any track FX applied to it.
Plus, as long as other tracks are soloed or armed, you can continue to accurately monitor your voiceover.
Additionally, there is also an improved dual screen layout on the edit page, especially when working with timelines for vertical video. This dual screen layout provides consistency regardless of timeline resolution. The layout as well makes it easier to minimize and restore the floating keyframe editor window.
