7Artisans unveiled the new, special bokeh cinema lens, “Floral Bloom Series.” The new 7Artisans Floral Bloom series is a cinema lens with a maximum aperture of T-number of 2.9 that maintains sharpness in the center of the image while producing a unique burst bokeh effect that flows radially from the periphery. The bokeh expression changes depending on the focus position and T-number, making it possible to incorporate impressive visual effects in scenes where you want to emphasize the narrative, such as flashbacks, acceleration, horror, and hallucinations.
The lens barrel is an eye-catching purple color, making it a creative lens that will broaden the scope of expression depending on the photographer’s imagination and direction.

Burst bokeh effect with blurred edges
The Floral Bloom series creates striking images that draw the eye to the center with background light and highlights that extend radially. It’s possible to create images with haze, light trails, and distortion, creating an extraordinary sense of tension and speed even in everyday scenes. Because the effect can be confirmed during shooting, it’s possible to shoot intuitively on location without relying on the editing process. It offers rich expression not only in video works, but also in still images such as portraits with a unique perspective.
Expression design suited to narrative direction
It is well suited to scenes where you want to visually emphasize the inner thoughts and tension of characters, such as flashbacks, time warps, horror scenes, and supernatural phenomena. It is also useful in music videos, short films, advertising videos, and other scenes where you want to leave a strong impression even with a short cut.
The blur effect changes depending on the focus position and T-stop.
The shape, flow, and radial spread of the blur will change depending on the subject distance (focus position) and T-stop settings. The effect is emphasized at near-maximum aperture, while stopping down the aperture makes the depiction softer. You can adjust the degree of expression to match the intent of the scene, even with the same lens.
Highly versatile lens design
It supports the 0.8MOD gear standard, which is common among cinema lenses, and can be combined with many focus ring accessories to enable a wide range of use depending on the shooting environment. The metal lens barrel is lightweight yet durable, and its compact size makes it easy to handle even when mounted on a gimbal, making it useful in a variety of locations. By using a mount adapter, it can also be used with mirrorless cameras.
A set with a mount adapter will also be released at the same time, allowing it to be used with E/Z/RF/L mount mirrorless cameras.
