
Canon announce the release of firmware updates for the EOS Series of cameras. Cameras being upgraded are the EOS C50, EOS C80, EOS C400, EOS R5 C, and EOS C70. These updates are available for download from the company’s website.

EOS C50 Firmware Version 1.0.1.1
- Fixed an issue where Wi-Fi would be disconnected when switching to VIDEO mode after connecting to a smartphone (tablet) using [Connect to smartphone (tablet)] in PHOTO mode.
Canon EOS C80 Firmware Version 1.0.4.1
- View Assist can now be applied and changed during playback.
- Focus peaking has been improved, particularly at high sensitivity settings, where peaking appeared to be superimposed over the entire screen.
- The following functions have been added to the Assign Button Settings menu.
- Digital Teleconverter [Digital Teleconverter 1.5x / Digital Teleconverter 2.0x / Digital Teleconverter 2.5x / Digital Teleconverter 3.0x]
