Viltrox unveiled the AF 56mm F1.2 Pro interchangeable lens for the Nikon Z Mount.

The new Viltrox AF 56mm F1.2 Pro Nikon Z Mount is a large-aperture portrait lens (equivalent to approximately 85mm in 35mm format) exclusively for APS-C format. The overwhelming brightness of the maximum aperture of F1.2 produces beautiful bokeh and a three-dimensional effect on the subject, making it ideal for portrait photography.

The luxurious optical design of 13 elements in 8 groups (1 UA aspherical lens, 1 ED lens, and 3 high refractive index lenses) ensures high resolution from the maximum aperture of F1.2 to every corner of the screen. It is compatible with the latest high-pixel cameras and faithfully reproduces the texture of fine details even when cropped or enlarged.

Equipped with Viltrox’s proprietary HyperVCM motor, it achieves fast and quiet autofocus. It also features focus breathing suppression ideal for video shooting, a dust-proof and weather-resistant construction, and a robust metal lens barrel, making it ideal for a wide range of scenes, from studio to outdoor shooting.
