Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG II | Art – The best optical performance ever
Excellent resolution across the entire frame, even at full aperture
The all-new 15-element, 12-group lens construction, based on the latest optical design technology, delivers extremely precise rendering, surpassing the previous 35mm F1.4 Art lens. The use of four high-precision aspherical lenses, including new glass materials that were previously difficult to process, and two SLD glass elements thoroughly suppresses various aberrations, such as axial chromatic aberration, which is easily noticeable in large-diameter lenses. Sigma’s high design standards for the Art line ensure overwhelming resolution even at maximum aperture.

Rich and beautiful bokeh without color bleeding
By effectively correcting axial chromatic aberration, it not only suppresses the coloring of the focused surface but also the blur, achieving natural bokeh. It also uses a circular aperture with 11 blades, which maintains its circular shape even when stopped down from maximum aperture. Additionally, through maximizing the surface precision of the aspherical lens, this lens creates smooth, beautiful bokeh.

Uses newly developed AAC (Advanced Amorphous Coating)
The lens employs a newly developed coating called “AAC (Advanced Amorphous Coating)” that has an amorphous layer with a low refractive index. This minimizes reflected light that causes ghosting and flare, achieving clear, crisp image quality.
Refined, compact and lightweight design
Uncompromising pursuit of compactness and lightness
The adoption of a floating focus configuration achieves both improved optical performance and compact, lightweight design. Compared to the previous model, the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG DN | Art, the overall length has been reduced by approximately 14% and the weight by approximately 20%. The mechanical design has also been carefully designed to reduce space down to the smallest detail, resulting in an uncompromising pursuit of compactness and lightweight design. This mobility supports professional expression.
Dual HLA adoption
The adoption of dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuators) drives the heavy focus group powerfully and quickly, enabling high-precision, stable AF for both still images and videos, providing an excellent shooting experience that reliably captures decisive moments.
Supports comfortable still and video shooting
High build quality of the Art line specification
By assembling high-precision parts using materials such as aluminum and TSC, it ensures high rigidity and durability without compromising portability, and has a build quality that allows it to be used reliably for a long time as a photography tool.
*TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) is a type of polycarbonate with a thermal shrinkage rate equivalent to that of aluminum. It has a high affinity with metal parts and contributes to the creation of high-precision products.
Equipped with various shooting assistance functions
The lens comes equipped with two AFL buttons to which any function can be assigned. In addition to the aperture ring, it also has a lock switch and a click ON/OFF switch for improved operability.
*When turned ON at position A, the aperture ring will be locked at position A. When turned ON at any position other than A, the aperture adjusts from maximum aperture to minimum aperture. After this, it will not be possible to enter position A.

Optical design suppresses focus aberration
The lens design also suppresses focus aberration, suppressing changes in the angle of view caused by focusing. This supports natural video expression with minimal changes in composition.
Dust-proof and drip-proof construction with water-repellent and dirt-resistant coating
In addition to being dustproof and weather-resistant, the front of the lens is coated with a water-repellent and dirt-resistant coating, allowing you to shoot with confidence even in harsh outdoor environments.
*This product is designed to be dustproof and drip-proof, but not waterproof. Be careful not to expose it to large amounts of water.

Includes a locking petal-shaped hood
A special flower-shaped hood is included, with a locking mechanism for secure attachment.
