Advanced optical design and excellent imaging performance
The Sigma AF Cine 28-105mm T3 FF optical system uses the design of the Sigma 28-105mm F2.8 DG DN | Art, a highly acclaimed stills lens. It combines the lens design experience and latest technology cultivated over the years, as well as the advanced production techniques of Sigma’s Aizu Factory, its only production base. It delivers high resolution and beautiful bokeh regardless of focal length or focus position, providing a sharp look with minimal flare and ghosting.
Mechanical design and operability as a full-fledged cine lens
While inheriting the imaging performance and reliability of the Sigma Art line, it combines cinema-style mechanisms and operability. It is optimized for the specifications required in professional video production. It is designed to meet the demands of professionals, with features such as a limited-rotation focus ring, an industry-standard 0.8M pitch gear, and a clickless aperture ring.
An Autofocus system that achieves excellent tracking and quiet operation
Equipped with a linear motor, the HLA (High-response Linear Actuator), it is said to capture the intense movements of action scenes, quick focus changes when shooting with a gimbal or handheld, and unpredictable moments in documentary filming, providing reliable support to photographers in a variety of shooting environments.
Note all specs and details are from what was exhibited at CP+ 2026 in February 2026. Other details, performance metrics, and other specs will be covered on Sigma’s website as the release date approaches.
