FUJINON Lenses Coming in 2027
The UA30x7.3 is a telephoto zoom lens designed for 4K broadcasting, covering 7.3mm to 219mm and achieving a best-in-class 30x zoom. The UA16x4 is a wide-angle zoom lens that covers the widest angle in its class, 4mm to 64mm, while also achieving a best-in-class 16x zoom.
The newly developed lenses offer a wide range of focal lengths in a single lens, providing powerful support for capturing decisive moments in a variety of scenes, including sports broadcasts, music concerts, and studio photography.

Use Cases
In professional filming settings such as sports broadcasts, music concerts, and studio shoots, it is essential to reliably capture the decisive moments that are crucial to the competition or performance. To meet these needs, there is an emphasis on achieving both zoom performance that covers a wide range of focal lengths from wide-angle to telephoto in a single lens, and a compact and lightweight design that allows for mobile operation.
The newly developed UA30x7.3 and UA16x4 are portable broadcast zoom lenses that achieve both an expanded wide-angle range and high magnification, and pack a wider focal length range than conventional models into a compact and lightweight body. By optimizing each element, from optical design to mechanical design, production technology, and control technology, they have achieved a compact and lightweight design while securing the best zoom magnification and wide-angle focal length in its class.
In sports broadcasting, the system can handle a wide range of shots, from wide-angle shots capturing the entire stadium to powerful close-ups, and even close-ups of subjects such as post-game interviews, adapting to the photographer’s intent. Furthermore, it flexibly supports creative expression in various shooting conditions, including music concert broadcasts, studio shoots, and news reporting, allowing photographers to express their intentions.
Since launching the world’s first 4K-compatible broadcast lens in 2015, the company has expanded its lineup to include 8K-compatible broadcast lenses, leading the way in improving image quality. The company states that this, along with the FUJINON UA22x4.8BERD and FUJINON UA94x8.7BESM, will significantly strengthen its lineup of 4K-compatible broadcast lenses.
