Lensbaby unveiled the new Twist 28, which offers a unique swirling bokeh effect. This lens comes available in three mounts, Sony E, Fujifilm X, and Micro Four Thirds. Release date is scheduled on July 17, 2026 (Friday).

This product is a wide-angle pancake lens that redesigns the legendary Twist 60 for mirrorless cameras. Despite its compact 38.5mm thickness, it delivers a vintage-inspired image. It also allows for close-up photography with a minimum focusing distance of 20cm, making it ideal for expressive snapshots and landscape photography.

The Lensbaby Twist28 is a wide-angle pancake lens that inherits the iconic swirling bokeh and vintage feel of the original Twist60, redesigned for mirrorless cameras. It delivers its effect in a variety of scenes, from intimate street photography and dramatic landscapes to captivating close-ups.

The metal fixed barrel is only 38.5mm thick, making it suitable as a snapshot lens. The aperture is fixed at F3.5, and it does not support ND filters, so exposure should be adjusted using shutter speed and ISO sensitivity. For daytime outdoor shooting, use with a camera capable of fast shutter speeds is recommended. A clamshell case is included.
