DZOFilm Arles Zoom Features
High zoom magnification and excellent optical performance.
The DZOFilm Arles Zoom series employs a newly developed 4-group linked zoom structure. The 25-75mm lens offers a 3x zoom, and the 65-180mm lens offers approximately 2.8x zoom, achieving both high resolution performance and a lightweight, compact design of approximately 1.8kg.

T2.6 aperture across the entire zoom range.
The 25-75mm and 65-180mm lenses cover a focal length range of 25-180mm. They maintain a bright T2.6 aperture throughout the zoom range and cover a full-frame sensor with a maximum image circle of φ43.5mm. A 16-blade aperture is employed, designed to produce smooth bokeh.

Color reproduction consistent with the Arles series.
The lens employs a low-saturation blue coating. While suppressing flare and ghosting, it aims for warm, natural color tones, enabling consistent video production with the Arles series of prime lenses.

Perfocal design maintains focus even while zooming.
The lens employs a parfocal design that maintains focus even during zooming. This minimizes changes in focus position during zooming, supporting smooth zoom operation. Focus breathing is also suppressed.
High optical performance and low distortion
By employing low-dispersion and high-refractive-index lenses, chromatic aberration, spherical aberration, and coma aberration are corrected. The optical design pursues high resolution performance and low distortion, while also taking into consideration the reduction in contrast in backlit situations.
Lightweight and compact cinema zoom
It features a compact design weighing approximately 1.8 kg and measuring less than 19 cm in length. The front element diameter is 95 mm, common to the Arles series, and the filter diameter is 86 mm. M0.8 gears are used for the focus, zoom, and aperture rings.

Compatible with a wide range of shooting systems
Finally, the DZOFilm Arles Zoom uses a standard PL mount and works with separately-sold interchangeable EF mounts. Furthermore, by combining it with DZOFILM mount adapters and other accessories, it can be used with various mirrorless cameras. It can be used in a wide range of shooting styles, including handheld, tripod, gimbal, dolly, and crane setups.
