The SHINOBI 7 II features an HDR touchscreen with a maximum brightness of 2,800 nits. This makes it easy to check exposure and focus even in bright sunlight, making it ideal for location shooting and outdoor production.
Furthermore, it supports Log, PQ, and HLG signals and displays a dynamic range of over 10 stops in real time, enabling accurate monitoring with post-production color grading and HDR finishing in mind. It supports more accurate exposure decisions on set while preventing blown-out highlights and crushed blacks.

This product features camera control functionality via a highly versatile USB-C connection. When connected to a compatible camera, users can set the camera’s focus point from the touchscreen, and intuitively adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/shutter angle, and ISO sensitivity using on-screen sliders.
The ATOMOS SHINOBI 7 II also features a shutter release function that allows you to take photos directly from the monitor’s touchscreen. In particular, in workflows involving multiple shots, such as HDR bracketing and focus stacking, you can adjust the focus position and other fine details that are difficult to check on the camera’s rear monitor using the large 7-inch monitor, allowing you to capture the image you want exactly as you envision it.

The SHINOBI 7 II supports display calibration using the unit alone. Use a compatible calibrator and the color accuracy of the monitor maintains itself on-site without the need for a PC.
Furthermore, it supports 3D LUTs, allowing for real-time preview of the final color-graded image during shooting.
