FUJIFILM GFX100II – Medium Format Cinema
The 4K short film “OVER THE LIMIT,” shot on the FUJIFILM GFX100II, was designed to showcase the cinematic prowess of the medium-format GFX100II. PRONEWS Japan was in charge of production and production. The premier was held at the GFX100II experience day last year.
“OVER THE LIMIT” is a short film shot entirely with a GFX100 II using cinema and GF lenses. The film aims to capture the world and charm of Noh theater, including the techniques of traditional performing arts, the beauty of Noh masks and costumes, and the grand and graceful dance. It is a film designed by the younger generation, orchestrated by the next generation of Noh performers, Kanze Saburota. Direction came from TFCPlus director Kwon Seong-hoon, and was made with as many young staff members as possible. The director of photography is Kobayashi Motoki.
