ATOMOS will exhibit at IBC2024, which will be held in Amsterdam from September 13th to 16th, 2024 (booth number: 11.D25). Here’s some of the news that came from ATOMOS at IBC2024.
Atomos has expanded its collaboration with Frame.io and Adobe to power Camera to Cloud workflows by equipping its monitor recorders with cloud-based tools and services, enabling faster turnaround and remote collaboration on any creative video project.
Firmware Update for the Ninja and Shogun
A free firmware update announced at IBC2024 allows a connected Ninja or Shogun to send footage directly to Frame.io V4 without going through Atomos Cloud Studio. The Ninja Phone can already upload footage directly to the platform using the iPhone app, and a free firmware upgrade for C2C connection is expected to be available soon.
Jeromy Young, CEO of Atomos, comented on the new C2C updates:
“Adobe has been pivotal in helping Atomos maximize the benefits of its cloud-enabled monitor-recorder,” said Mr. Young. “We’ve worked together on many high-profile projects, including the Sundance Film Festival and the BRIT Awards, delivering footage to social media faster than ever before.”
Seamless Integration
The new Frame.io V4 is a flexible, fast and intuitive creative collaboration platform that streamlines and simplifies workflows across content creation and production. As teams and organizations race to meet the accelerating demand for video content, creators and stakeholders at every stage of development are being left behind by disconnected tools and systems. Frame.io V4 is designed to meet the complex needs of creative teams delivering personalized content at scale by centralizing feedback, reducing revisions and accelerating the delivery of media assets.
Combined with Camera to Cloud and ATOMOS devices, teams can further streamline their video workflows, creating a highly efficient production pipeline from capture to final content delivery.
To celebrate the new integration, ATOMOS and Adobe are offering an extended 3-month trial of Frame.io V4 beta with the purchase of any ATOMOS Camera to Cloud connected monitor recorder.* The offer is only applicable to new Frame.io accounts and can be redeemed by registering any ATOMOS product.
*Atomos Connect required to connect Ninja and Ninja Ultra to the cloud, purchased separately.
