Firefly: The Ultimate Creative AI Solution

Creative AI has evolved even further, with the latest Adobe Firefly models generating compelling images, videos, audio and vectors. The new Adobe Firefly Image Model 4 and Adobe Firefly Video Model now allow you to generate content that matches your vision with tools like text-to-image, text-to-video and image-to-video.
The Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra is perfect for projects that demand detail and realism. This model is designed to meet the most complex needs, delivering professional-level results when precision and clarity are required.

In addition to Adobe Firefly models, Adobe Firefly web version now allows users to choose third-party AI models from Adobe, further expanding creative options. In addition to Adobe’s own models, users can choose from creative AI models with a variety of functions and styles provided by partners such as Google Imagen 3, Veo 2, ChatGPT image generation, and Flux 1.1 Pro.
Assets generated using the Adobe Firefly web app are automatically credentialed and include information about which AI model was used, giving you peace of mind knowing that no matter which model is used, Adobe never uses your content to train the AI model.

Adobe Illustrator is faster than ever
The latest version of Adobe Illustrator delivers dramatic performance improvements to speed up your design workflow and lets you offload tedious tasks to new AI-powered features, allowing you to focus more on creativity.
New performance enhancements in Adobe Illustrator help you create high-quality custom artwork faster. Menus are more responsive, font navigation is faster, and finding the perfect typeface is quicker. Plus, Adobe Illustrator’s most commonly used effects are up to five times faster, so you don’t get in the way of your creative flow.

Adobe Illustrator continues to evolve to meet the needs of its users, and the latest release addresses some of the most requested features from the creative community, including more responsive snapping, enhanced color control in the eyedropper tool, and the ability to save and share patterns in bulk for easier collaboration with teams and clients.
Plus, Adobe Illustrator’s creative AI features speed up your workflow: start with a vector shape, add detail with Generative Shape Fill, and create seamless, customizable patterns with Pattern Generation from Text.
And the generate extension for Adobe Illustrator (Beta) lets you seamlessly extend vector graphics and artboard dimensions beyond their original bounds, resizing artwork in seconds while preserving its style.

Adobe Photoshop Updates
Adobe Photoshop is packed with powerful new features that help you work more efficiently with precise selections, instant color adjustments and smarter workflow suggestions.

The improved Object Selection Tool in this update helps you quickly and accurately select intricate details on a person, such as hair, clothing, and facial features. With just a few clicks, it automatically detects and isolates hard-to-select details, saving you time and manual effort. Try the new Object Selection Tool in Adobe Photoshop desktop and web.
Adjust Color streamlines color editing workflows by automatically identifying the most prominent colors in an image and providing controls to modify colors directly on the canvas.
Additionally, the redesigned Hue/Saturation panel now features larger swatches and sliders, giving you more control over how you precisely adjust color. Change the overall mood of an image or make selective color edits precisely and intuitively without the need to manually apply masks or adjustment layers.

Work smarter and faster with the improved Actions panel in Adobe Photoshop (Beta). The new feature presents a list of actions optimized for the content of your image, or lets you search for an action if it’s not there. It helps you apply complex, multi-step edits more efficiently, making difficult tasks easier, helping you find inspiration and accelerating your workflow.
The improved Actions panel is said to be the first step in bringing intelligent, real-time agent capabilities to Adobe Photoshop.
The AI agent learns your working style and provides personalized guidance with contextual recommendations for your creative goals to accelerate your editing. This marks the beginning of a new Adobe Photoshop that is more intuitive and responsive, with AI at the core, but still in control.

Other Adobe Creative Cloud updates
Adobe announced further Creative Cloud updates for other popular apps.

Adobe Lightroom now includes a new masking feature called Landscape, which automatically detects and quickly masks landscape elements such as mountains, water, and foliage. Quick Actions have also been improved, allowing Adobe Lightroom to suggest one-tap quick edits tailored to the content of your photo. For example, you can whiten teeth or soften skin to give each person in your photo a unique look.
Creator protection and attribution initiatives
One of the biggest concerns expressed by today’s creative community is the misuse or impersonation of their work online. Just as artists have long signed their paintings and sculptures to claim their authorship, today’s creators need a secure, modern way to protect their work.
So Adobe has launched a public beta of Adobe Content Authenticity, a free web app that lets creators attach content credentials to their work, which can include details like a verified name (via the “Verified on LinkedIn” feature) and social media accounts.
The app also allows users to indicate that they do not want their work to be trained against generative AI models. To support this feature, Adobe is working closely with policymakers and industry partners around the world to establish an effective, creator-friendly opt-out mechanism for generative AI using content credentials.
Supporting creators in the AI era
While generative AI holds great promise for the creative industries, concerns and uncertainties remain. Adobe states they want to support creators more tools than ever before to protect their integrity and their work.
Adobe Fresco is introducing the option to include “Created without generative AI” information in content credentials to indicate that the artwork was created by a human, with the goal of helping artists get the recognition they deserve for the time, experience, and unique style they put into their artwork.
