From the previous GEAR EXPO TOKYO workshop
“GEAR EXPO TOKYO 2023” will be held on January 20th and 21st, 2023 for the purpose of testing the latest equipment and interacting with creators. The main venue is “Toei Tokyo Studio 6st.”
GEAR EXPO TOKYO, which will continue from 2021, is a product and technology exchange event that directly connects manufacturers and end users like Cine Gear Expo, unlike Inter BEE and NAB, which are led by manufacturers. This time, an actual cinematic set will be built and reproduced the shooting site. The latest equipment from all manufacturers can be brought together in one set for practical testing. Participating manufacturers include ARRI, Sony, Rotolight, Zeiss, Angenieux, FUJINON, IDX, AOTO, and Tokina.
Workshops and seminars led by experienced engineers will also be held in addition to the various equipment lineups of each manufacturer. The target audience for this event is the cinematographer, cameraman, lighting engineer, and other film crews. Admission is 3,000 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for students.
