Aputure Expands amaran COB S LED Light Lineup

Aputure Imaging Industries will release new products in their lineup of “amaran” COB type LED lights. These include the 100Watt daylight type amaran 100dS, bicolor type amaran 100xS, 200W daylight type amaran 200dS, bicolor type amaran 200xS, 60W daylight type amaran COB 60dS, and the bicolor type amaran COB 60xS, to complete the lineup. The selling price is as follows.

The amaran COB S series maintains a lightweight and compact plastic body with a body weight of 1.4kg (amaran 100d S), while adopting a completely new “dual blue LED chipset” that dramatically enhances the ability to reproduce the real spectrum of sunlight. 

In addition to the CRI value, which lacked accuracy in measuring the color rendering properties of light, the SSI (Spectral Similarity Index) settings, advocated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the United States. has improved significantly with these new lights.
