The amaran COB S series maintains a lightweight and compact plastic body with a body weight of 1.4kg (amaran 100d S), while adopting a completely new “dual blue LED chipset” that dramatically enhances the ability to reproduce the real spectrum of sunlight.
In addition to the CRI value, which lacked accuracy in measuring the color rendering properties of light, the SSI (Spectral Similarity Index) settings, advocated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the United States. has improved significantly with these new lights. Regardless of whether you are shooting portraits, products, photos or videos, you can achieve more accurate color reproduction and dramatically reduce the burden of post-production such as retouching.
By connecting various Aputure equipment to your iPhone or Android device via Bluetooth, you can remotely control the brightness, color temperature, etc. of each equipment from the Sidus Link app. The iPhone and Android versions of the app are available for free (the iPad version is paid).
