The “DM7” and “DM7 Compact” to be released this time are digital mixing consoles that are ideal for fixed facilities such as event venues such as live performances, theaters, broadcasting, and music production studios. The “DM7” has a mixing capacity of 32 inputs/16 outputs and 120 input channels in a 79.3 cm wide, 56.4 cm deep housing, while the “DM7 Compact” is 46.8 cm wide and 56.4 cm deep, despite its compact size with 16 inputs/16. The console also has an output and a mixing capacity of 72 input channels.
It also supports a sampling rate of up to 96 kHz and the audio network standard “Dante” that allows transmission of multiple channels with a single cable. Equipped as standard with the “Dan Dugan Automatic Mixer” that optimizes gain in real time and realizes natural volume control, it also enables mixing that suppresses background noises, even in unscripted speeches.
In addition, a “Split Mode” that allows one “DM7” and “DM7 Compact” to function like two separate mixers and an “Assist” function that shortens the preparation time are newly installed. The operation screen adopts an intuitive new user interface, with two 12.1-inch touch screens on the “DM7” and one on the “DM7 Compact”, and a 7-inch touch screen that displays level meters and other information on both models.
“DM7” and “DM7 Compact” can add two faders, User Defined Key, jog wheel for DAW control, scene memory, panner and monitor control by connecting with expansion controller “DM7 Control”. It is possible to provide a comfortable operating environment for works such as musicals that require comprehensive triggers and scene changes, and broadcasting stations where hands-on control of monitors and DAWs is important.
