Blackmagic Design has released the Public Beta 4 of DaVinci Resolve 18.5, Downloadable from the company website.
The updated beta version improves exporting with more control over subtitles. This ensures that only enabled subtitles will be included in the render and visible on export. It also improves the stability of the system when displaying clip handles on the color page, making the grading process smoother.
Additionally, this update includes several improvements to the scripting API for managing tracks and timelines. This allows you to write scripts that automate commonly used functions when placing and replacing VFX in the DaVinci Resolve timeline, speeding up post-production and reducing mistakes.
DaVinci Resolve Studio now supports Traditional and Simplified Chinese transcription. It also improves vertical resolution when doing remote monitoring, resulting in a better picture when securely delivering footage to remote directors or clients. Additionally, support for Blackmagic RAW 3.2 has been added, along with numerous bug fixes and overall performance and stability improvements.
