The V-AF is a compact, lightweight cine AF lens designed for individual video creators, small-scale productions and filmmakers.
Features
Unified form factor
Compact size of Φ72.2×72.1mm and light weight of 280g from ultra-wide-angle to medium-telephoto, unifying the series lenses. By reducing the burden on the gimbal payload and keeping the same length and center of gravity, there is no need to rebalance when changing lenses.
Tally lamp
This Samyang lens is equipped with tally lamps on the front and side of the lens that let you know the recording status from the side where the image is being shot.
Smooth focus transition
Smooth focus movement during camera recording, 300° linear MF focus ring rotation angle, and adjustable focus speed is available with lens manager software. Samyang’s CineKit (sold separately) is also supported.
Custom switch
By switching between M1 and M2, it is possible to set the aperture with the focus ring when the lens is in AF operation. The setting contents of the switch can be changed with “Lens Station” and “Lens Manager (software)”.
Focus hold button
Focus hold function (in AF mode) and focus save function (in MF mode) can be used. In addition, the lens station allows assignment of different functions.
Color balance unified in the series
Designed according to SAMYANG’s CCI standard. Even if you change Samyang lenses, the color balance will not change.
Quiet and fast AF
A linear STM motor works in tandem with the camera for fast and quiet autofocus.
Weather sealing
Equipped with 6 points of weather sealing inside the lens to achieve dust and splash proof.
8K & unified color tone
V-AF lenses are lenses designed for high-resolution cameras up to 8K cameras. Achieve fast-acting aperture and precise bokeh. Unified color tone reduces editing time such as color matching.
