Sony announced an update for the FX-3 and FX-30 Cine line video production cameras. The download can be downloaded from the Sony website.
This update comes as the Creators’ Cloud app has received a major update in advance of the CP+ 2024 event. The update to the Creators’ Cloud app can be viewed in this article previously published. Other fixes and updates to the firmware for the Sony FX-3 and FX-30 also came with this upgrade.
The firmware updates are as follows:
ILME-FX30 Ver. 4.00/ILME-FX3 Ver. 5.00
- Camera images can now be uploaded directly to Creators’ Cloud
- Wi-Fi signal strength is now displayed
- Improved the issue where certain custom key operations may cause restart.
- Improved the issue where the time code was not retained when the power was turned off and on.
- Improved exposure stability when shooting videos at extended ISO
- Improved operational stability
