Hollyland has announced the Solidcom C1 Pro roaming hub, designed specifically for large scale film and TV productions.
Featuring Hollyland’s cutting-edge roaming technology, the Solidcom C1 Pro roaming hub addresses the common field challenge of ensuring a stable communication link in wide or complex areas, providing crews with a flawless filming experience in various environments and scenarios. The Hollyland Solidcam C1 PRO debuted at IBC2024.

Designed for large sets
The Solidcom C1 Pro roaming hub has the capacity to connect up to 20 full-duplex headsets on a single hub, minimizing communication gaps even in the most complex shooting environments.
Additionally, the effective range of a single hub has been increased from the previous maximum line of sight (LOS) of 350m to 500m, enhancing reliability and flexibility on large sets.
The Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro also supports up to six communication groups, allowing for efficient coordination between various departments such as production, camera, and lighting, and also adds customization of roles and numbers, improving efficiency on site.
Always connected, roam freely
On complex film sets, communication is frequently hindered due to obstacles or the need to reconnect as crew members move, which can have a significant impact on effective communication across the team and adherence to the shooting schedule.
The Solidcom C1 Pro roaming hub has a powerful roaming function to meet the needs of quick movement and communication over long distances. When the wireless headset enters the boundary of the coverage areas of two hubs, the system will automatically identify and switch to the hub base with a stronger signal and disconnect from the original hub base. The switching process is quick, has no impact on the user’s communication connection, and the voice quality is always clear and stable. Even if the user moves quickly in a complex environment, there is no need to worry about communication interruption due to signal loss. Hollyland’s self-developed roaming technology allows the headset to be used in complex and long-distance environments, and the communication between crew members is always clear and free.
This enables film and television crews to communicate more effectively, regardless of the complexities of a location or the physical and signal environment.
Smart App Control
The Solidcom C1 Pro roaming hub features easy-to-use mobile app control, eliminating the complex cascading and grouping of multiple hubs in traditional wireless intercom systems.
Thanks to the hub’s built-in Bluetooth communication module, users can easily change settings directly from their mobile devices, eliminating the need to walk long distances to the hub to adjust parameters.
Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro is Highly compatible
The Solidcom C1 Pro Roaming Hub is compatible with Solidcom C1 and C1 Pro headsets and features two 5/8″ and 3/8″ industry-standard mounting holes that allow for easy attachment of various accessories such as tripods and light stands, making installation in the field easy and hassle-free.
The Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Roaming Hub edition retains many of the benefits of its predecessor, including Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), PTT functionality for crews accustomed to communicating via walkie-talkie, and USB Audio Class (UAC) for real-time online communication with off-site personnel.
Improving shooting efficiency
On large-scale film and television productions, various departments and crews work together to realize the director’s vision.
