Zacuto released the “C80 Z-Finder” and “C80 Cage” for the Canon EOS C80. Both products are on display at the Zacuto booth at IBC2024.
Canon C80 Z-Finder
The Canon C80 is very similar to the C70 in size and shape, but with some changes. Because of this, this particular Z-Finder is designed to be fully compatible with previous models. If you already have a Zacuto Z-Finder Pro 2.5, you can continue to use it by purchasing a custom mounting frame designed specifically for the C80.
The C80 Mount Frame slides over the camera’s LCD and secures to the camera’s shoulder strap hook. It has a 135° tilt angle and a single lever to move the monitor up and down. The Z-Finder also flips open for easy access to the touchscreen functions.
Canon C80 Cage
The C80 Cage is designed to let you build a versatile and durable rig. The cage features multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting holes and incorporates Z-rails along the top and sides for a tactical top or side handle. It also features relocation holes for a camera microphone mount and cold shoes for lighting and audio equipment like the Zacuto MicroBOOM.
