Blackmagic Design has released Blackmagic Camera Ver. 1.4 for Android. The download link is available on the company’s web page .
This update adds support for Bluetooth microphones and the ability to monitor audio while recording, meaning you can use your own wired or Bluetooth headphones to monitor audio while shooting.
It also adds support for external timecode sync using Tentacle Sync, allowing frame accurate recording across multiple Android cameras for easy multicam editing in post production.
Blackmagic Camera for Android Ver. 1.4 adds new recording bitrate options for the H.264 and H.265 codecs so customers can choose between low, medium, high and maximum bitrates, giving them more control over file size and image quality than ever before.
It also adds support for some Oppo models and Sony Xperia 1, 5, and PRO-I, and improves overall performance and stability.
