Panasonic Corporation announced the upcoming release of the 4K video camera, HC-VX3, on Friday, November 22, 2024, and the 2K video camera, HC-V900, on Friday, December 13, 2024. The suggested retail prices for both products are to be determined.
The 1/2.5-inch sensor enables high-definition shooting, and the camera is equipped with a wide range of basic functions, including an image stabilization function that effectively suppresses camera shake when shooting handheld.The camera is also equipped with a high-magnification zoom ([VX3] 4K shooting: 24x optical/iA32x, [V900] Full HD shooting: 24x optical/iA48x) that allows you to capture clear images of the natural expressions and movements of children who are the main focus of events such as sports days and recitals.
Usability has also been improved, with a new bright 3.0-inch touch panel with 1.84 million dots that allows for smooth operation like using a smartphone. It also supports the convenient USB Type-C, so you can charge it from a mobile battery when you’re out and about or when you’re traveling between shoots.
Furthermore, the HC-VX3 is equipped with a “time stamp function” that can record the shooting date and time in the video. In response to the demand for high-quality sound input by combining an external microphone and mixer at events and educational sites, it is also equipped with a “line input function”, making it usable for a wide range of purposes.
