Following the release of the Simera-C T1.5 21mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm, Thypoch has announced that they are adding an M-mount version to broaden compatibility.
The M-mount Simera-C T1.5 maintains the design of the E-mount version, but is lighter at 20-30g, with the 50mm weighing just 353g. The lens series is popular with filmmakers for its versatility and image look, and the M-mount is expected by many potential users due to its wide range of adaptability.
M-mount cine lenses are as adaptable as PL-mount lenses, and can be attached to almost all mirrorless cameras (E, RF, Z, L, X-mount) using adapters. They can also be mounted (positively locked) to ARRI Alexa cameras and Sony Venice systems with third-party M-mount kits (Thypoch recommends XPIMAGE’s ARRI M-mount for seamless compatibility), ensuring seamless integration from mirrorless video cameras to high-end cinema setups like the DJI Ronin 4D, Sony Venice, Alexa 35, Alexa mini LF, Alexa mini, and Amira.

Appearance of Simera-C
The Thypoch Simera-C T1.5 captures raw beauty while minimizing chromatic aberration and human-eye-like field curvature, delivering a neutral look with softness, smooth bokeh and natural edge falloff for three-dimensional storytelling. The lenses control flare, preserving highlight detail without compromising image authenticity.
The floating element design of the Simera-C series allows for a closer minimum focusing distance than many modified CineMod rangefinder lenses, providing nearly identical quality at close focus and infinity, resulting in higher texture and detail in close-ups and greater creative flexibility.
