Thypoch announced the addition of a new medium telephoto option to its Simera series: the 75mm F1.4 for M-mount and E/Z/RF/L/X-mount users. The 75mm is a classic and elegant focal length for rangefinder lenses, and stands out as one of the few F1.4 lenses with rangefinder coupling for the M-mount system.

The Thypoch 75mm F1.4 Simera seamlessly integrates the signature design elements of the acclaimed Simera series with the precision engineering of the Simera -C T1.5 Cine Primes’ 16-blade iris and 8 elements in 9 groups. The lens effortlessly produces beautiful circular bokeh at any aperture while minimizing the traces of onion rings, keeping the viewer’s focus on the subject.

With eight elements in nine groups, including one aspherical lens, two ED lenses, and two HRI lenses, the Simera 75mm F1.4 delivers excellent sharpness across the entire frame, minimizes chromatic aberration, and ensures accurate color reproduction, making it a perfect match for medium-format cameras.
It also delivers distinctive imaging with smooth focus falloff and clear three-dimensionality, making it ideal for capturing the subtle emotional essence of subjects in flat photography.
Despite its outstanding performance, the Simera 75mm F1.4 boasts a compact form (total length 63.5mm) and lightweight design (371.8g), making it an ideal option for street and portrait photography, giving photographers the flexibility to capture subjects from further away easily and comfortably.
The Simera 75mm F1.4 ASPH. features a depth of field indicator, making it easier to understand the depth of field. The lens offers aperture switching in both clicked and dictated modes to cater to the distinct needs of videographers and photographers. Additionally, for rangefinder camera users, a warning is displayed that disables at 0.7m.

Pricing and Availability
The Thypoch Simera FF75mm F1.4 is available now exclusively for M-mount users, and with the use of an adapter it can easily be fitted to Fujifilm X, Sony E and Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. The lens comes in black and silver finishes and is expected to ship in early March.
