Meisho Optical TTArtisan announced its newest interchangeable lens, the APS-C “AF 23mm f/1.8 Sony E-mount.”
The TTArtisan AF 23mm f/1.8 is a standard prime lens with AF functionality. With a focal length equivalent to approximately 35mm (in 35mm full-frame equivalent), it is suitable for street photography, landscapes, portraits, and other snapshots, and is said to produce sharp, clear images.
Stepping motor for smooth focus
The lens comes equipped with an STM (stepping motor), it enables smooth and quiet autofocus. It also supports Eye AF, so you won’t miss the decisive moment in portrait photography.
The lens barrel is made of durable 5052 aluminum alloy (aircraft grade), which provides high robustness and a refined texture that complements the camera’s design.
The lens weighs just 210g. The bright F1.8 aperture suppresses noise and reduces subject and camera shake even in dark scenes such as indoors or night scenes. It also makes use of bokeh, which beautifully accentuates the subject.
