Exhibit solution overview
This event will introduce a range of streaming solutions that can be used in a variety of settings, centered around KORG’s high-quality audio streaming technology, “Live Extreme.” This time, we will focus on live viewing streaming solutions for movie theaters, and introduce new operational models and system configurations for theatrical screenings.
Next-generation theater distribution system
In recent years, there has been growing demand for screening non-movie digital content (ODS) at movie theaters, including live viewing of live concerts, plays, talk events, etc. This exhibition will introduce the next-generation theater distribution system being jointly developed by KORG and Hibino Imagineering.

The system utilizes existing cinema infrastructure, such as cinema servers and surround sound, to provide stable, high-quality live viewing without the need for additional equipment or major renovations. It also works with a dedicated cinema screening CMS currently under development to centralize operations such as screening schedule management, streaming monitoring, and pre-screening checks.
This time, we will also introduce the actual configuration of a live viewing distribution that includes surround sound, focusing on the distribution and screening process after encoding, including real-time distribution.
Real-time broadcast content
For live performances at Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya, with the cooperation of Kagayaki Co., Ltd., Miharu Communications Co., Ltd., and NHK Technologies, multi-channel audio and video was transmitted from the hall to the Shibuya T-2 audio broadcasting van studio without degradation, and a Dolby Atmos mix was created in real time from the Makuhari booth. Streaming data in the Dolby Atmos format was generated and distributed in real time using the Live Extreme Encoder.
Through these transmission paths, an immersive audio and remote production workflow will be created, allowing viewers to experience a practical model for real-time Dolby Atmos live viewing distribution.
- Date and time: 11/19, 11/20, 11/21 (1) 13:00- (2) 14:30- (3) 16:00- (15:30- on the last day only)
*There will be two presentations (1) and (3). (2) will be a live screening.
