Leica Camera AG announced the company entered into a strategic partnership with Capture One, a brand known for developing and producing advanced image processing software. This collaboration aims to ensure Leica users maximum stability and quality in tethered shooting and image processing in any shooting location, both indoors and outdoors.
Leica’s integration with Capture One enables direct data transfer, increased stability, and increased speed in a tethered shooting workflow, allowing users to move from shooting to editing instantly and make adjustments in real time while viewing the image in high-precision Live View, enabling professional-level shooting and image processing.
In addition, Capture One’s distinctive features, such as high color reproduction, color profiles tailored to Leica cameras, precise color correction functions, and outstanding editing and processing precision, enable better results than ever before. Leica users will not only be able to complete the entire workflow from shooting to editing and developing in one place, but will also be able to fully utilize functions that fully meet the requirements of professional photography in any location, whether in the studio or outdoors.
To kick off this expanded partnership, Leica and Capture One are offering a trial program that allows Leica users to try out all of Capture One’s features free of charge for three months, deepening their understanding of workflows optimized for Leica cameras and experiencing the precision, speed and creative freedom that Capture One’s image processing capabilities offer, from real-time tethered shooting to detailed editing.
