Meisho Optical TTArtisan unveiled their newest interchangeable cine lenses, the “TTArtisan 50mm T2.1 Dual Bokeh” and “TTArtisan 85mm T2.1 Dual Bokeh.”
The Meisho Kogaku TTArtisan Dual Bokeh (Bubble/Soft Switchable) series are large-aperture lenses with a unique design that allows you to freely switch between two rendering modes: “Bubble Bokeh” and “Soft Bokeh.” By switching the bokeh, you can express two different worldviews with just one lens.
TTArtisan Dual Bokeh – Two selectable rendering modes
Bubble Mode
The unique and beautiful bokeh effect resembles soap bubbles with outlines, captivating the viewer and creating a fantastical and dreamy image expression, as if soap bubbles of light were dancing. This special bokeh effect beautifully depicts scenes bathed in light, such as plants swaying in sunlight filtering through the trees, night illuminations, and portraits, with an extraordinary atmosphere.

Soft Mode
The lens allows for soft, high-quality image expression while moderately suppressing details. Additionally, it carefully depicts skin texture and nuances of light, allowing for warm portrait photography. Also, it brings out a natural softness without the need for a soft filter, and its soft contours and warm tones gently bring out the beauty of people and flowers, adding depth and emotion to your work.

Supports creative photography
The focus ring has a rotation angle of 320° (50mm) / 299° (85mm) in soft mode, and 163° (50mm) / 258° (85mm) in bubble mode, allowing for accurate and precise focusing. The smooth-operating focus ring and stepless iris ring (aperture ring) also enable comfortable video shooting with reduced operating noise.

TTArtisan Dual Bokeh Features
Highly compatible with 0.8MOD for flexible operation
The lens comes compatible with the most common gear standard, 0.8MOD, and can be combined with many focus ring accessories, allowing for flexible operation according to the shooting environment.
Aviation-grade aluminum for durability and light weight
The lens barrel is made of aviation-grade aluminum, which is highly strong and corrosion-resistant, making it lightweight yet highly durable.
