Sigma Corporation announced the development of the Sigma 85mm F1.2 DG | Art, a large-aperture medium telephoto lens compatible with full-frame mirrorless cameras.
A prototype of this lens exhibited at the Sigma booth at CP+2026, which happened from February 26 to March 1, 2026. Only the prototype version displayed; production versions are scheduled to be released in September 2026.

The Sigma 85mm F1.2 DG | Art is a large-aperture medium telephoto lens compatible with full-frame mirrorless cameras. Thanks to its cutting-edge optical design, it delivers high resolution even at full aperture, enabling impressive portraits with the large bokeh unique to F1.2. Its compact, lightweight design and fast, quiet autofocus thanks to its Dual HLA support professional photography.
With the release of this lens, the lineup now includes three F1.2 prime lenses, along with the Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG II | Art and the Sigma 50mm F1.2 DG DN | Art.
