Nikon announced the release of the “Zf-GR1 Silver Extension Grip for Zf” on June 19, 2026, as part of its Nikon original merchandise line, specifically designed for the full-frame/FX-format mirrorless camera “Nikon Zf”. Pre-orders will begin on June 10th (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM. The price at Nikon’s online store will be 18,700 yen (tax included).
The “Zf-GR1 Silver Extension Grip for Zf” is a grip specifically designed for the Zf camera, enhancing its grip while maintaining the iconic design of the Zf. The grip surface uses the same artificial leather as the camera body for a unified look when attached. In addition to a front grip that provides a good grip for your fingers, it also features a rear grip that naturally supports your thumb. You can firmly grip the entire grip, enveloping it in your hands.
The battery/memory card cover of the “Zf” camera can be opened and closed while the “Zf-GR1 Silver” is attached. The battery and SD/microSD memory cards can be replaced. The base plate also features a tripod screw hole (1/4 type). It is compatible with Arca-Swiss type clamps, ensuring the same ease of use as when the camera is not attached.
