DJI announced its new 360° camera, the Osmo 360 II. DJI has cultivated handheld shooting technology for over 12 years. Leveraging this technology, the Osmo 360 II developed as their flagship 360° camera.

DJI Osmo 360 II Incorporates DJI’s Latest Technology
The Osmo 360 II builds upon the technology developed for DJI’s first 360° camera, the Osmo 360, and the 360°-capable drone, the DJI Avata 360, while enhancing its 360° shooting capabilities.
The Osmo 360 II features a square HDR image sensor designed for 360° shooting. Compared to configurations using conventional rectangular sensors, it improves sensor utilization efficiency by 25% while reducing power consumption. The AI noise reduction algorithm “AI Super Night 2.0” enhances shooting performance in low-light environments. It also employs a user-interchangeable lens design, allowing approximately 105GB of the 128GB of internal storage to be used.
Features a 1-inch equivalent imaging area and supports 8K/60fps HDR 360° shooting.
The DJI Osmo 360 II features a square HDR image sensor, achieving an image area equivalent to a 1-inch 4:3 CMOS sensor when shooting 360°. The dynamic range during 360° shooting is up to 14.5 stops, expanding the range of brightness expression compared to the previous generation.
Suitable for low light conditions to high-speed action.
The new AI noise reduction algorithm, “AI Super Night 2.0,” improves image quality in low-light environments. For high-speed action shooting, the combination of 2.4μm pixels and a high-performance chip supports 8K/60fps 360° video recording. Even with fast movements, it can capture smooth 360° footage while suppressing motion blur.

Motorcycle
By mounting the camera in various locations, you can shoot from multiple angles. It also supports gesture and voice control, allowing you to start recording without taking your hands off the handlebars.
Diving
The camera alone can shoot underwater up to a depth of 10 meters. Furthermore, by using the Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case, it can be used up to a depth of 50 meters.
Skiing
It can be used even in environments as cold as -20℃, and shooting can be started by twisting the selfie stick twice. Furthermore, by using the 2.5m extension carbon fiber selfie stick, it’s possible to shoot from angles similar to aerial photography. Additionally, motion blur effects can be added to adjust the visual expression.
Mountain biking / Road cycling
Image stabilization allows you to shoot smooth footage even on rough trails. By adding an overlay to the sports dashboard, you can also create cycling videos that combine various data.
Vault photography
Using the invisible selfie stick, you can shoot third-person perspective footage that makes it appear as if the selfie stick has disappeared from the video. Furthermore, by utilizing the simultaneous front and rear shooting function, you can create content that combines the scenery in front of the camera with the view from the photographer’s side.

- 120MP HDR 360° Photos: Supports 120MP HDR 360° photo capture, allowing you to record scenes with a wide dynamic range.
- 16K 360° Time-Lapse: Supports 360° time-lapse photography at 16K resolution. Cloud mode allows you to compress and capture the movement of the sky and clouds over time.
- 64x Panoramic Slow Motion: Using DJI Studio’s AI frame interpolation, you can output slow motion equivalent to 8K/480fps after cropping from 8K/60fps 360° footage. Furthermore, 4K/240fps shooting supports up to 64x slow motion in post-processing.
- 8K/120fps Vortex Mode: By swinging the camera, you can capture vortex effects that take advantage of 8K/120fps footage.
- 10-bit/D-Log M color profile: Supports 10-bit color depth in all video formats, allowing recording of over 1 billion color information.

The Osmo 360 II, when paired with the updated DJI Mimo app, supports intelligent subject tracking and more. Spotlight Follow uses AI to track the subject and keep it centered on the screen, reducing the need for reframing in post-production.
Furthermore, it supports NFC connectivity, allowing you to connect the camera to the DJI Mimo app with a single tap. This streamlines video transfer and editing within the app.
Features a user-replaceable lens design.
The Osmo 360 II features a user-replaceable lens design. The lens surface is coated to enhance scratch resistance, improving durability against scratches and wear. If a lens is damaged, it can be replaced, allowing for continued shooting.
The device weighs 183g. It has 128GB of built-in storage, with approximately 105GB available for use. The battery supports up to 100 minutes of continuous recording at 8K/30fps and can be charged to 80% in about 22 minutes. Using the battery extension rod, the operating time can be extended by up to 180 minutes.
Integrating with the DJI ecosystem
The Osmo 360 II supports on-camera audio recording thanks to its built-in 4-microphone array and wind noise reduction design. It also supports direct connection with the DJI Mic series via Osmo Audio.
The Osmo 360 II features a bidirectional quick-release design, allowing magnetic accessories to be attached regardless of whether the camera is facing forward or backward. Furthermore, it has a 1/4-inch screw hole, making it compatible with accessories from the DJI Osmo ecosystem and general camera equipment.

DJI announced the exhibition of the Osmo 360 II at the consumer electronics trade show “IFA 2026” (booth number: H20-129, Hall 20), which will be held from September 4th to 8th. Visitors will be able to try out the Osmo 360 II at the venue.
