IBC2026

Panasonic Corporation plans to provide an automatic color matching function for its paid plugin “Image Adjust Pro (AW-SF600)” within its “Media Production Suite” software platform in a software update in October 2026, in order to support the efficient operation of multiple cameras in video production settings. This announcement came in the leadup to IBC2026.
Image Adjust Pro Development Background
In recent years, the use of multiple cameras in various video production settings, including live events, broadcasts, streaming, and corporate and educational applications, has become widespread. However, matching the color tones of each camera requires specialized knowledge and experience, and traditionally, it was necessary to check the video from each camera and make fine adjustments to the parameters.
This feature streamlines on-site color matching by automatically adjusting the color tones of other cameras to match the color tone of a reference camera. Aimed at being easy to use even for operators without specialized color matching skills, it contributes to both reducing the time required for shooting preparation and achieving stable image quality.
Image Adjust Pro Color Matching Function Main Features
Automate color matching for multiple cameras and streamline shooting preparation.
The automatic color matching function automatically adjusts the color tones of other cameras to match the image from a reference camera. Traditionally, in situations where multiple cameras were used, it was necessary to check the image from each camera and adjust settings such as gamma, matrix, and color correction.
This feature automates the color chart-based adjustment workflow within the software, reducing the time and effort required for pre-shoot setup. By quickly aligning the color tones of multiple cameras, it reduces the burden of equipment adjustments, creating an environment where users can focus more on shooting, directing, and content creation.
Furthermore, when using Panasonic remote cameras for color matching, it is possible to automatically adjust the field of view relative to the color chart. This further improves the efficiency of color matching work using color charts.
An intuitive GUI that is easy to use even without specialized color matching skills.

This feature employs an intuitive GUI, aiming for user-friendliness even for operators without specialized knowledge of color matching.
Panasonic cameras are color-matched to other manufacturers’ cameras.

The automatic color matching function allows you to adjust the color tone of images from other cameras based on the image from one camera. The reference camera can be a Panasonic camera or a camera from another manufacturer*, allowing for operation tailored to existing equipment and site configurations.
The automatic color matching function will be rolled out sequentially to models compatible with Image Adjust Pro (AW-SF600), including the AW-UE200 series and AW-UER200 series.
Panasonic states that it aims to improve workflows for shooting preparation and color matching using software to meet the diverse camera operation needs in video production settings, thereby realizing stable video quality and an efficient production environment in more locations.
This plugin will be exhibited at IBC2026 (International Broadcasting Convention 2026), which will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands from September 11th to 14th, 2026.
*Only Panasonic cameras are compatible with color matching based on a reference camera.
