Inter BEE 2026

Canon plans on exhibiting at “Inter BEE 2026,” Japan’s largest comprehensive media event, to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from November 18th (Wed) to 20th (Fri), 2026. At the Canon Inter BEE 2026 exhibit, products and video production solutions will be on display, including the 7K full-frame cinema camera “EOS C50” and the 30x CINE-SERVO lens “CN30×40 IAS J/R1”.
While the demand for video content is expanding and diverse forms of visual expression are required, the broadcasting and video production industries are facing challenges such as labor shortages, the need to shorten production periods, and the need to reduce production costs.
At the Canon booth, in response to these challenges in production environments, cinema cameras, mirrorless cameras, remote camera systems, and broadcast lenses will be on display. Solutions utilizing automation technology and virtual production will also be introduced, proposing ways to expand visual expression and streamline production workflows.
Lineup of video production equipment that supports high-quality video expression.
The company will be exhibiting the “EOS C50” digital cinema camera (released in November 2025), which employs a 7K full-frame sensor. This product features a variety of recording functions, including open gate recording and simultaneous vertical cropping, to meet the diverse needs of various video productions.
Also worth noting is the RF mount compatible CINE-SERVO lens “CN30×40 IAS J/R1” (released in September 2026). This 30x zoom lens covers a range from 40mm at the wide-angle end to 1200mm at the telephoto end, balancing high magnification with portability. When using the built-in 1.5x extender, the focal length becomes 60-1800mm, making it compatible with full-frame sensors.
In addition, the full-frame mirrorless camera “EOS R6 V,” which focuses on video recording, and the power zoom RF lens “RF20-50mm F4 L IS USM PZ” (both debuted in June 2026) will also be on display. A touch-and-try event will be held at the venue where visitors can actually operate numerous cameras and lenses, including the new products.
Remote Camera Exhibit
The remote camera system experience corner will also feature a demonstration of the PC application “Camera Control Center.” This application unifies the installation, initial setup, color calibration, operation, and maintenance management of Canon remote cameras, and is scheduled to be provided free of charge from early January 2027.
This system integrates multiple camera management applications, which were previously separate for different purposes, streamlining tasks from initial setup and preparation for shooting to operation and management. It also includes a function to adjust image quality while comparing footage from multiple cameras.
On-site efficiency and diverse content creation solutions
Canon at Inter BEE 2026 will also introduce various solutions that streamline the workflow from shooting to distribution and expand the range of video expression.
The “Multi-Camera Orchestration” solution for remote camera systems (available from January 2026) is a mechanism that controls multiple remote cameras in conjunction with the movement of the main camera operated by the operator.
This system streamlines camera operation necessary for multi-angle shooting, making it useful for small-team program production. A studio set will be set up at the venue, and a demonstration simulating program production will be conducted.
Virtual Production
In the virtual reality field, the company plans to introduce the VR video shooting system “EOS VR SYSTEM” and “Dual Pixel 3D” (available from October 2026). These generates high-quality 3D models from a single photograph. With Dual Pixel 3D, you can generate 3D models from photographs using the compatible PC application “Dual Pixel 3D Converter”.
Canon at Inter BEE 2026 additionally plans on exhibiting its “Canon Virtual Production System.” This system streamlines the compositing of live-action footage using LED walls and green screens with CG by communicating and processing lens and camera shooting information in real time and outputting CV metadata.
Through these exhibits, the company plans to propose solutions for a wide range of production environments, from efficient video production with small teams to new forms of video expression utilizing VR and virtual production.
