CP+2026 | Booth Preview

Sony will be exhibiting at CP+ 2026, the world premiere show for cameras and photography, to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from Thursday, February 26th to Sunday, March 1st, 2026.
This year’s Sony booth will be themed “Expression Never Stops: Beyond Imagination.” Sony plans to feature a wide range of products and services that will enhance the creativity of a wide range of creators, both in still and video, and expand the possibilities of visual expression. At CP+ 2026, creators will be able to experience a wide range of photography needs. With the full-frame mirrorless camera “α7 V” (to be released in December 2025), visitors will be able to try out the blackout-free high-speed continuous shooting of up to 30 frames per second with AF/AE tracking, and the rich tonal expression of up to 16 stops of dynamic range.
Other features include “Real-time Recognition AF+” that keeps capturing a target even in scenes with fast-moving people, a corner where you can experience shooting science art using a macro lens, and a corner where you can experience video shooting with a cinematic worldview. Furthermore, there will be a demonstration of the “XYN Spatial Capture Solution” (currently under development), which creates high-quality, photorealistic 3DCG assets from images of real-world objects and spaces captured with the “α9 III.”

Environmental and accessibility considerations
Sony aims to reduce the amount of virgin plastic used in its products and is promoting the use of recycled plastic “SORPLASTM” and paper material “Original Blend Material.” The company is also exhibiting imaging products equipped with accessibility-conscious features, such as a “voice reading” function that reads out loud menus and video playback screens to assist operation, and a “zoomed display” function for menus. Furthermore, the apparel worn by staff in the booth is made from “TriporousTM,” a material made from rice husks, of which over 100 million tons are discarded annually worldwide.
“α Plaza” Special Event
At the “α Plaza” in five Sony Stores across the country, seminars and talk shows held at CP+2026 will be held as CP+2026 linked courses. In addition, CP+2026 linked events exclusive to the α Plaza, such as special exhibitions in the gallery space, are also planned. Details of these events will be released sequentially on the special website below.
