SmallRig announced an accessory system for the DJI RS series. This accessory system includes a sling handle, dual handle, ring grip and remote control handle.
The Ring Grip and Remote Control Handle will be released in the future. The Sling Handle and Dual Handle can be purchased on the official SmallRig website. The SmallRig DJI RS Series Sling Handle and Dual Handle are compatible with DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro. The handle is made of soft silicone and features a non-slip, ergonomic grip design. It is foldable for easy storage.
From the left, the DJI RS series sling handle and the DJI RS series dual handleThe handle allows you to do a variety of things, including adjusting the gimbal focus, shutter release, recording, joystick control, mode switching, recentering/locking, sleep mode, etc. The focus dial allows you to adjust the 3-axis movement, focus, and even some camera parameters.
The handle features a variety of mounting options, including a 1/4”-20 threaded hole, a 3/8”-16 threaded hole, a cold shoe mount, a NATO rail, a QD socket, and a strap hole. You can also attach a shoulder strap (ID 4118) using the QD socket to further reduce strain on the handle during shooting.
