CP+2025

Tamron will operate a collaboration booth (booth number 87) with Godzilla, the monster most representative of Japanese cinema, at CP+2025, the camera, photography, and imaging exhibition in Yokohama.

The exhibition will feature Godzilla and Mechagodzilla, the Type 3 Kiryu that appeared in the Godzilla series. Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (2002) and Godzilla vs. Mothra vs. Mechagodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003), in which the Type 3 Kiryu appears, are works that depict the fierce battle between Godzilla and the Kiryu, which was developed based on the bones of the original Godzilla, and are still popular with many fans.
The exhibit not only lets visitors experience the powerful figure of Godzilla up close, but also lets them freely take pictures with the experience cameras and lenses on display at the booth. This display will be enjoyable for Godzilla fans as well as those who are experiencing Godzilla for the first time, and allows visitors to experience the history and evolution of monster movies.

Collaboration booth concept movie
Display at Tamron’s booth at CP+2025
At CP+2025, Tamron will operate a booth where visitors can enjoy the charm of special effects movies and Tamron lenses through the following content.
- Godzilla & Kiryu Diorama Display: A diorama reminiscent of a special effects movie set was displayed in the booth. Visitors were free to take photos using the Tamron lenses provided.
- Special effects demo experience “Touch & Try Counter”: A special effects filming demo corner that uses a slider. Visitors can experience filming videos that make them feel like they are in a scene from a movie.
- Macro lens experience corner: A corner will be set up where visitors can try out close-up photography using Tamron’s macro lens, featuring Godzilla and a mini diorama.
- Bonus: An original “TAMRON | Godzilla” sticker will be given as a gift. The first 300 people to register as a new member for a TAMRON ID at the CP+ venue will receive an original “TAMRON | Godzilla” sticker.
- Booth concept movie released: The “TAMRON | Godzilla” booth concept movie will be screened on the large screen inside the booth.
