Tokina Cinema VISTA-P 180mm T1.9 Orders Begun

Kenko Professional Imaging developed the 180mm focal length “Tokina Cinema VISTA-P 180mm T1.9” as a new addition to the popular Tokina Cinema “VISTA-P” series, and will begin accepting orders from July 8, 2025. Shipments are scheduled to begin after October 2025. In Japan, the suggested retail price is 3,168,000 yen.

Newest Addition to the VISTA-P Series

The brand-new Tokina Cinema Lens “VISTA-P 180mm T1.9” was developed based on the popular “VISTA Series”. It produces soft images with reduced contrast like vintage lenses, and creates a sense of depth by emphasizing the swirling bokeh around the edges and the center.

The 180mm focal length was specially developed in response to requests from filmmakers to capture larger sensor cinema cameras with a telephoto range. As with other lenses in the series, the mount is only available in PL.

The VISTA-P series has the same large 46.7mm image circle and bright T1.5 aperture as the conventional VISTA series, and is compatible with most video camera sensors, including the VistaVision format (180mm is T1.9).

With the addition of the 180mm, the VISTA-P series now has 12 lenses: 18mm, 21mm, 25mm, 29mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 85mm, 105mm, 135mm, and 180mm, giving it the same lineup as the standard VISTA series.
