KORG announced the microAUDIO series of desktop USB audio interfaces. The two models available are the microAUDIO 22, which focuses on basic performance, and the groundbreaking microAUDIO 722, which features analog filters derived from classic instruments. With high sound quality, intuitive operability, and a full range of features, the microAUDIO series is said to support a wide range of applications, from music production to live streaming.
Common features of the “KORG microAUDIO” series
Compact design, premium sound
Despite its desktop size, microAUDIO delivers a deep, open sound image and ample headroom.
Its studio-grade preamps eliminate unnecessary circuitry while pursuing low noise and musical gain. Tuned to prioritize clear sound, both models support up to 24-bit/192kHz and feature balanced inputs and outputs, enabling high-quality recording and playback. From delicate vocal recordings to synthesizer layering and live performances, every nuance is faithfully captured.

Intuitive operability that lets you focus on creativity
Each channel supports Mic/Line/Hi-Z input and 48V phantom power. It also features an assignable noise gate and compressor/limiter for low-noise, musical gain control. These processors can be applied not only to the input signal, but also to audio played back from the connected computer.
Direct operation with the front panel knobs and zero-latency direct monitoring allow for instant feedback during recording or live performances. The headphone output can be assigned independently of the main output. You can also send the click sound only to the headphones, or monitor the cue signal when using DJ software.
(These functions will be added in version 1.01, scheduled for release in February 2026.)

The Stereo Link function lets you control two channels simultaneously with a single knob, making it easy to adjust the balance when connecting a synthesizer or other stereo-output instrument. This lets you focus on creating without having to worry about complex settings.
For streaming and mobile production
The built-in loopback function lets you send your computer’s audio directly to streaming or a DAW without complex routing, making it ideal for streaming, sampling, and improvisational content creation. USB-C connectivity also allows for seamless integration with smartphones and tablets, allowing you to create and stream music anywhere. From home production to stage and online streaming, it’s compatible with any workflow, delivering consistently stable, professional sound.
Features of the KORG microAUDIO 22

The microAUDIO 22 is a model focused on clean, reliable sound and easy operation. With its streamlined, intuitive layout and solid basic performance, it’s the perfect choice for creators looking for a first audio interface, as well as for those seeking high sound quality and simple operation.
Features of KORG microAUDIO 722

The microAUDIO 722 is a hybrid model that combines an audio interface with KORG’s legendary analog filter. It features the iconic analog filter derived from the miniKORG 700S, KORG’s first mass-produced analog monophonic synthesizer. Featuring the smooth, organic response you expect from analog, the microAUDIO 722 adds a unique character and movement to your sound that simply can’t be achieved with digital processing alone.

The microAUDIO 722 can also function as a standalone analog filter. Connect a guitar or bass and use it as an auto-wah, or run a filter through a digital synth to add a classic analog feel. Featuring low-pass, high-pass, and bypass modes, the analog filter can be applied freely not only to the input signal but also to audio played back from a computer.

The KORG microAUDIO 722 also supports MIDI In/Out. This enables creative workflows that combine the precision of digital with the expressiveness of analog, such as filter automation and synchronization with external devices.
