Leica Camera announced that Freefly Systems joined the “L-Mount Alliance.” The “L-Mount Alliance,” which was officially announced at “photokina 2018,” welcomes its 11th member with the addition of Freefly Systems. The previous members were Leica Camera, Sigma, Panasonic (all founding members), Ernst Leitz Wetzlar, DJI, Astrodesign, Samyang Optics, Blackmagic Design, Sirui, and Viltrox, for a total of 10 companies. What is the L Mount?
The “L-mount” lens mount standard is characterized by its robustness, precision, and high compatibility, ensuring continued use in the future and meeting the high-level requirements of photography. Developed by Leica, its technological development has continued since its inception by Leica and its strategic partners.
