Nextorage announced a sponsorship partnership agreement with Japan Race Promotion, the All Japan Super Formula Championship operator. Super Formula is the highest level of motorsport in Japan.
In this partnership agreement, the “NX-M2SE series” microSDXC memory card was selected for use in recording onboard camera footage for the official SUPER FORMULA app, “SFgo.” The two companies also stated that they will continue to conduct field tests in the demanding environment of motorsports to improve product reliability.

Demonstration experiment of microSDXC memory card for onboard camera
SUPER FORMULA cars are equipped with onboard cameras that deliver the thrill of the race to fans, and the footage is streamed via SFgo. Filming with onboard cameras requires recording media that can reliably record even under extremely harsh conditions, such as the intense vibrations and shocks caused by speeds reaching up to 300 km/h, as well as the scorching heat from direct sunlight and engine heat.
For this project, the “NX-M2SE series” of memory cards, which offers high-speed and stable writing performance, was adopted as the recording medium. In addition, both companies will continue to conduct field tests using microSDXC memory cards in actual racing environments to collect durability data under harsh conditions such as vibration, shock, and heat. The insights gained from these tests will be utilized in the development of Nextorage products.
