The Samsung SSD booth (Hall 8/Booth 8401) plans on showcasing a number of cutting-edge storage solutions that eliminate bottlenecks that arise at each stage of video production. Through exhibits and demonstrations, the company will introduce a variety of solutions that will improve the efficiency of video production workflows, including high-capacity, ultra-fast RAID transfer using the Gen5 SSD “9100 PRO 8TB,” high-speed backup combined with next-generation interface-compatible enclosures, multi-camera recording and remote editing in conjunction with Blackmagic Design products and Blackmagic Cloud, and a replay and slow-motion playback system.

A Lenovo ThinkStation P8 workstation equipped with two HighPoint RAID cards achieves transfer speeds of up to 50GB/s. SSD-based workflow for smooth camera recording
Recording directly from a camera or smartphone to an SSD enables long-term recording of high-resolution video. Recorded data can be backed up quickly from the SSD, enabling efficient data management. High-speed direct transfers made possible by the 9100 PRO
Directly import 8K RAW data from a Gen5 SSD attached to the ICY DOCK removable adapter to the internal Gen5 SSD at speeds of around 12GB/s, dramatically reducing backup times for 8K RAW recording data.
Next-generation interface for high-speed backup
The 9100 PRO 8TB card is housed in a Thunderbolt 5/USB4 compatible enclosure, allowing for high-speed storage and transfer of large amounts of data even in a portable environment. Furthermore, the P9 Express microSD Express card, which achieves transfer speeds of up to 800MB/s, can be used as a recording medium for quick backup of footage from action cameras, drones, and other devices.
Great value Blackmagic replay package
The replay and slow motion playback functions, which are essential for sports broadcasts and live streaming, have been configured using a combination of Blackmagic Design products and Samsung SSDs, all packed into a compact rack. At the venue, visitors will be able to try out the replay operation for themselves.
Same-day editing and delivery workflow with Blackmagic Cloud integration
By linking Blackmagic Cloud with Samsung SSD, dramas and interview footage recorded with multiple cameras can be remotely edited and delivered on the same day, improving work efficiency from on-site to post-production.
