Blackmagic Design has released DaVinci Resolve 18.1.4. It can be downloaded from the company website.
This update improves the loading speed of timelines with a large number of markers. Also, the “Save all clip stills” process on the color page has been changed to be cancelable. If you start the process and realize you need to modify a clip, you can quickly cancel the process, apply the changes to the clip, and then save stills from all clips in the timeline.
It has also been changed to preserve the creation date of the original camera file when using the Proxy Generator. Creation date is also displayed in the sync bin, so if the wrong date is set on the camera, it can be manually updated on the media page.
Range markers created based on the range from the In point to the Out point default to the last set color. Also improved audio performance when scrubbing through sync bins and performance of ResolveFX’s Dehaze plug-in when using DaVinci Wide Gamut. In addition to these, it also supports the ability to decode ARRI RAW clips shot with black and white cameras into monochrome mode using DaVinci Resolve.
